Securmark is a company that security marks boats, outboard engines, cars and other objects often exposed to theft. After an object has been marked it is registered in our database with information about the object and the owner of the object. If an object gets stolen and is later found by the police or other authorities, they can contact us to find the rightful owner of the object.

About Securmark Scandianvia
Securmark Scandinavia started it's business in Arendal, Norway in 1988. We have a franchise agreement with Securmark AG International in Switzerland who have the rights of the trademark Securmark.

Our business includes an organisation of 300 dealers in Norway and 140 in Sweden, for marking cars, boats and outboard engines. Securmark has a wide and binding cooperation with the insuranse industry, the Police, security agencies and other organisations in Norway and Sweden.

About the system
Securmark is an international system for securitymarking and is established in Europe, North- and Southern- America and Australia.

By means of engravement, grit blasting and etching or melting into an object, boats, outboard engines, cars, tools, office and computerequipment, etc. is marked. This way each unit gets an unique identity for a distinkt and reliable identification.

All information about the marked object, and it's owner, is registered in Securmark Scandinavia's database in Arendal. The information is also transferred to the main database of Securmark AG International in Switzerland.
